Only 31% of homes and apartments in Kyrgyzstan are currently insured. This low coverage rate means that many residents face the risk of losing millions if they suffer damage to their property. However, the insurance system has already seen payouts, with compensation distributed across 318 claims since the beginning of 2026, totaling more than 60 million soms.
