On November 7, a festival dedicated to introducing the national cuisine and cultural heritage of the Korean people was held near the Kurmanjan Datka monument. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, local government bodies, the Korean diaspora, as well as city residents and guests, participated in the solemn opening ceremony.
Cultural Exchange and Traditions
As part of the program, guests were able to learn about the traditions of making kimchi, one of the most famous dishes in Korean cuisine. Such events contribute to expanding mutual understanding between peoples.
"The kimchi festival has become a kind tradition that unites the residents of the capital and allows for a closer acquaintance with the unique culture, national traditions, and cuisine of the Korean people."
The Bishkek mayoralty noted that the city continues to support initiatives aimed at developing international cultural cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between countries.
