The Kyrgyzstan-South Korea Friendship Park in the capital has been replenished with new trees as part of the autumn afforestation campaign, the Bishkek Mayor's Office reported. 85 oak saplings were planted on the park territory.
Plant care and land restoration
Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev visited the planting site to monitor the progress of the work. The city head ordered not only to plant the trees but also to tidy up the area, including restoring the lawn. Special attention was paid to the irrigation system, as regular watering is a key condition for the survival of the new plants.
"The most important thing is to ensure watering. Not a single tree should be left without water. Everything must be cleaned, tidied up, and the lawn must be restored,"
Previously, Buddha Bar was located on this site, but after its dismantling, the new owners transferred the territory to the city to create a green zone. A total of 600 saplings have been planted across Bishkek as part of the current autumn campaign.
