President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov reviewed the results of the socio-economic development of the Chui district for the period from 2021 to 2026 on November 7.
Development of water supply and irrigation systems
To improve public access to water and meet agricultural needs, large-scale work was carried out to modernize engineering networks in the district. In particular, new water supply lines were laid and irrigation systems were updated.

As part of the irrigation works, specialists not only built new sections but also repaired and cleaned existing irrigation canals.

The Chui district is part of the Chui region, which had a population of more than 1.1 million people as of 2020.
