Broken play elements have been found at a children's playground on Ekindik Boulevard in Bishkek, which readers say poses a threat to the health of children who visit the site every day.
Condition of equipment worries parents
Users of the playground said some parts of the play areas are completely unusable. Among the damaged equipment are stairs, walkways, obstacle courses and monkey bars, which could cause injuries to young children.
- Swings are broken and have not been replaced, even though several months have passed.
Cleanliness and maintenance problems
In addition to physical wear, a reader last month also pointed to the "disgraceful condition" of the play area. According to her, in the year since the playground opened it has been neither washed nor sanitized.
