Irregularities were discovered during the laying of asphalt pavement in the At-Bashat village of the Uzgen district in the Osh region. The contractor, OsOO "Tolman," was fined 200 thousand soms and mandated to rectify the defects, as reported by the Ministry of Construction's press service.
Inspection Details and Findings
The unscheduled inspection was organized following a public video appeal from a local resident, who highlighted the poor quality of the road construction work. Inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of State Architectural and Construction Control (GASK) and experts from the Republican Center for Construction Certification were dispatched to the site.
The project for the capital repair of the road, which has a total length of 3.2 kilometers, is commissioned by the Jalpak-Tash ayil okmotu. At the time of the inspection, the asphalt concrete surface had been laid over a section measuring 700 meters.
During the inspection, specialists collected cores (samples) of the asphalt concrete for laboratory testing concerning density, thickness, and water saturation. Based on the inspection results, the company "Tolman" received a fine of 200 thousand soms and was given 10 days to correct the identified defects. The Ministry of Construction emphasized that the site remains under strict control.
Context
