According to Kulieva, on June 15, 2026, the Pervomaisky District Court sentenced her husband to five years in prison, but probation was applied and he was ordered to pay $300,000 within six months. The case has now moved to the city court.

Deception and the origin of the funds

According to the woman, her husband was deceived: he lost the money he had earned over five years in Korea. Kulieva clarified that these funds belong to citizens who worked in Korea and transferred money to the electronic wallets of fellow countrymen, and are not her husband's personal funds.
