The National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan (NESK) reports that electricity consumption in the country remains at a high level, despite a slight decrease compared with previous days. Energy workers call on citizens and businesses to use electricity wisely to ensure stable operation of the grids in the autumn-winter period.

Consumption dynamics and recommendations for the public

According to NESK, daily electricity consumption amounted to 64 million 391 thousand kilowatt-hours. Although this figure is lower than in some previous periods, the load on the power system remains significant.

64,391,000Daily electricity consumption
66,022,000Consumption on October 30
51,131,000Consumption on October 30, 2025

It is noted that at the end of October the consumption figure was almost 29 percent higher than on October 30, 2025. At the same time, compared with the figures for October 30, electricity consumption decreased by 1 million 631 thousand kilowatt-hours, which is 2.47 percent.

Recommendations from the energy sector

Energy workers warn that with the onset of cold weather the load on electrical grids increases, especially in the morning and evening hours, when a large number of powerful appliances are switched on at the same time. In this regard, the public is asked to avoid, where possible, switching on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time in order to reduce the overall load on the grids.
