Several major European media holdings received bomb threats. According to Meduza, the threats affected the Irish television company RTE, the British TV channel Sky, and the Bulgarian Nova TV.

Letters sent in the name of a certain Mikhail Andropov were discovered in the RTE and Nova TV newsrooms. The author of the messages also claimed to be behind the bomb warnings previously sent to airlines.
