The issue was raised during the President's working trip to the Chui region during a meeting with residents of Kant and the Ysyk-Ata district. A father of a large family with a visual impairment reported that while his turn to receive housing had come, the proposed option does not meet his family's needs.
The problem of insufficient space
The applicant explained that nine people live in his family. The current offer from the State Mortgage Company does not allow for decent living conditions for all family members, as there is extremely little space per person.
Housing and family parameters
According to the man, refusing the proposed option could lead to being removed from the queue or exiting the program. He appealed to the head of state with a request to find alternative housing with a larger area.
President's decision
After hearing the appeal, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov instructed the relevant commission to consider the provision of a 98-square-meter apartment as an exception, taking into account the citizen's family circumstances and health condition.
"He is blind; let us consider the possibility of providing him with a 98-square-meter apartment as an exception. Let the commission review this and provide assistance, taking his disability into account."
