Buyers of land plots in the Ihsan cooperative have appealed to President Sadyr Japarov for help in resolving the issue of land registration. According to the applicants, despite having repaid all debts and fulfilled their financial obligations, construction of housing is impossible due to the seizure of the cooperative's assets, which occurred after the case was referred to court.
The situation with the plots and the authorities' actions
During a meeting with residents of the Sokuluk district, it was noted that the problem affects not only eight families, including families with people with disabilities, but also hundreds of citizens. Construction Minister Nurdan Oruntayev said that the Ihsan cooperative operated on a Ponzi scheme principle, promising citizens to multiply their invested funds or provide land plots. In addition, the minister noted that the legislation does not permit housing construction on some of the allocated plots.
Those affected by the situation
In response to the appeals, President Sadyr Japarov requested information from Interior Ministry representatives on the progress of work to return the cooperative's assets to citizens. First Deputy Interior Minister Adylbek Biybosunov reported that the assets of the Ihsan cooperative have been seized and that the restrictions will be lifted as court decisions are issued, after which the assets will be transferred to citizens.
