According to the Leninsky district police department of Bishkek, citizen K. Zh. contacted the police and reported a theft. According to him, on August 29 unknown persons entered the mosque and stole money from the donation box.
Circumstances of the incident and detention of the suspect
The amount of material damage caused by the theft is currently being established. The investigative service of the Leninsky district police department of Bishkek has opened a criminal case over the incident under the "Theft" article of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational search activities, police officers detained the suspect B.D., born in 2008. After his detention, he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek city police department. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
