81 properties in Kyrgyzstan undergo seismic safety technical assessment

The State Institute for Earthquake-Resistant Construction and Engineering Design in Kyrgyzstan has completed issuing engineering and technical conclusions for 81 properties located across the republic. Most of the assessed properties are social and residential buildings.

According to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities, conclusions were prepared for 81 properties in October of this year. Most of these properties belong to the social and residential housing stock.

Seismic resistance testing

As part of the institute's work, a vibration-dynamic test was also conducted on a special vibration stand. This procedure made it possible to test the seismic resistance and strength of the materials used in cladding the facades of multi-storey buildings.
