Azim Zhakshylykova, Chairperson of the 'Umay ene jarygy' public foundation, was honored with the 'Excellent Culture' badge for her work in developing the cultural sphere. Zhakshylykova stated that culture is the foundation upon which a state develops and grows.

Foundation Activities and Community Support

The foundation, which Zhakshylykova established and began working with in 1996, provides training in various crafts for people with disabilities and those of retired age. These activities include embroidery of ornaments, making 'shyrdak' rugs, and creating panels, among other handicrafts.

  • The goal is not only to train people in crafts but also to create conditions for them to earn a living through their own labor.
  • Events like the World Nomad Games offer good opportunities for selling the items they create, enabling them to earn money independently.

In addition to crafts, the foundation organizes archery training sessions and conducts classes focused on improving health and proper nutrition.

Cultural Importance for National Growth

A state cannot exist without culture. A state develops and grows thanks to culture. Therefore, we must preserve our national culture and show it to others.
