Work on a new road in the western part of Bishkek, which links the city with Shopokov, has been completed. The reconstruction of the Bishkek — Kun-Tuu — Shopokov highway has been carried out successfully, according to reports.

Construction work at the site began in 2025. Road markings are currently being applied on the section.
