The Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic has left unchanged the guilty verdicts against a man charged with the illegal sale of psychotropic substances, specifically methamphetamine. The defense's request to annul the court decisions and acquit the accused was rejected by the cassation instance.
Details of the Drug Sale Case
According to the case materials, the individual, identified as Kaldarbek, was allegedly involved in illegal drug sales despite his supposed obligations under military statutes and tasks assigned to national security bodies. The transaction involved a specific sum of money and a designated location.
The sequence of events indicates that a woman, Madina, ordered narcotics from Kaldarbek for 10,400 KGS, transferring the money to his electronic wallet. A friend of Madina reportedly asked the woman to purchase the substance. Kaldarbek then transported the psychotropic substance to a restaurant in Lebedinovka, Chuy region, leaving it near an electricity line support. He subsequently sent Madina a photo of the drop-off point via WhatsApp.
Arrest and Investigation
Madina left the restaurant with a companion named Aybek. Without informing her companion about the contents of the drop, the woman asked him to retrieve the package. The man placed it in his jacket pocket and returned to Madina.
