The launch of the 'Tunduk' department marks a significant step in streamlining vehicle registration services within the Sokuluk District of the Chuy region. The department was inaugurated by the Head of the President's Office, Kanibek Tumanbayev.
Key Procedures and Citizen Benefits
Initially, applications for both primary and re-registration of vehicles must be submitted exclusively through the 'Tunduk' mobile application, enabling citizens to apply from any location using a phone.
- After application confirmation by a specialist, vehicle owners only need to visit the department to collect the ready technical passport and state license plates.
- To obtain the documents, a passport must be presented.
- If state license plates are being replaced, the previous technical passport and old license plates must also be surrendered.
According to the President's Office, this new procedure is designed to save citizens time and prevent queues. Furthermore, work is currently underway to fully transition registration services into an online format.
