On the instructions of the head of state, the investigation into the circumstances of the death of Almashev Sultan, which occurred on January 3, 2021, has been resumed with a review of all the arguments put forward by the mother of the deceased, Aiymkul Almasheva.
Circumstances of the case and the applicant's claims
The appeal to the president was initiated by a resident of the village of Kun-Tuu. According to the woman, her son left the house in home clothes after a phone call, and the next day the family learned of his death.
- The mother expressed disagreement with the results of the initial investigation.
- She believes that during the inspection of the scene, clothing, footwear and vehicles were not properly examined.
- In addition, the applicant pointed out that injuries found on her son's body were not taken into account.

A representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had previously reported that the initial forensic medical examination found that the man died as a result of asphyxiation from vomit.
Measures taken on the President's instructions
In connection with the mother's appeals and the shortcomings she cited, the investigation was resumed. The Chui regional police department has been instructed to re-examine the circumstances of the case, check all the applicant's arguments and give them a legal assessment.
President Sadyr Japarov ordered prosecutors to take control of the investigation, as became known during the head of state's meeting with residents of Sokuluk district.
