During a meeting with residents of Kant and the Issyk-Ata district on November 7, President Sadyr Japarov tasked the presidential administration and relevant government agencies to resolve long-standing land disputes. Two years have been allocated to address these issues and problems with illegal land registration.
The problem of document fraud
The head of state reported that a significant portion of citizen complaints concerns unlawful actions during land acquisition. According to him, approximately 90 percent of inquiries at such meetings are related to people encountering fraud and the use of forged documents.
Many citizens are still unable to resolve their legal and property issues arising from such transactions. The President emphasized that every appeal must be considered strictly in accordance with current legislation.
Other regional development issues
In addition to the land issue, residents raised topics regarding the socio-economic development of the region during the meeting. In particular, issues concerning the construction and repair of schools, sports facilities, and providing the population with housing through the state mortgage program were discussed.
