Training for railway sector specialists is currently taking place in Kyrgyzstan as part of cooperation with Turkey. According to the State Enterprise 'NK 'Kyrgyz Railway', the program is being conducted with the involvement of two expert instructors from the Turkish Railway Academy (Türkiye Demiryolu Akademisi). This academy operates within the structure of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD).
Scope of Technical Training
The training focuses on the subject of 'Railway Track Repair and Technical Maintenance.' The curriculum is comprehensive, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of railway track upkeep.
- Identifying and eliminating defects in the track
- Maintaining turnouts
- Measuring the geometric parameters of the track
- Planning repair works
Furthermore, the program includes a practical field trip to a railway section near Bishkek. This allows local specialists to participate in a joint inspection of the track alongside the experts.
